Dream of seeing the falling leaves of cherry blossoms on the street? Or want to watch the night light in Korea? These are some of the most fulfilling dreams of a traveler. South Korea is one of the best places that everyone wishes to visit. Its breathtaking views are popular and featured in different Korean dramas.
And the common reasons we fall in love with Korea are the Korean actors. The Korean actors are good-looking which captivates our hearts. If I have a chance, I would love to travel to South Korea. I wanted to try their street foods, take a photo and explore their living.
If you plan to visit South Korea, you should definitely visit Seoul. A city where tourists can explore iconic destinations such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, N Seoul Tower, Bukhansan National Park, and the Han River. Tourists can also eat a variety of delicious street food, enjoy shopping at the many markets, or take part in traditional cultural activities. In addition, they can also explore the city’s nightlife, take part in the 강남룸싸롱 (Gangnam Room Salon), or visit a club or bar for entertainment and get a feel for the city’s vibrant culture.
Let’s go! Here are my target destinations once I breathe the same air with my idols in South Korea:
Gyeongbokgung Palace
This is one of the most used film locations in Korea. This Palace is popular for being the first home of the Joseon Dynasty. The government tried its best to restore its beauty following its original structure. Every time I see this Palace, it brings me back to 2016. This is the year when my favorite Korean drama entitled Scarlet Heart Ryeo was still airing. They filmed the ending part where prince Wang Soo has the throne and power. But unfortunately, the person he loved the most, Hae Soo, is gone. The Palace’s address is at 161 Sajik-to, Sejongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
Namsan Tower
Since I always see it in Kdrama, I wish to be there at the Namsan Tower. It is tall that it would give you a fantastic shot of Korea’s entirety. I love to experience in this place the padlocked of my dreams and wish. Koreans said that once you put a padlock above the tower, with your special someone’s name, it will do come true. The first time I’ve seen this place was when I’m watching Boys Over Flowers. This is where Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di have their unplanned date. The two of them got trapped inside the cable car. The tower’s address is 105 Namsangongwon-Gil, Yongsan 2(i)ga-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Jeju Island
It is the Hawaii of South Korea. That is perfect for us to unwind, especially when we lost peace of mind. We have so many things to do while we are on this island; aside from taking a selfie, we can dive and explore underwater. Try their foods like Sea Urchin soup or visit superb beaches nearby. The 2008 Kdrama Boys Over Flowers showed and focused on this island’s beauty. The film emphasized the heart-shaped island, adding its beauty and excellent view. To get there, you need to go to Jeju International Airport.
Lotte World Seoul
We are not getting any younger. We all know that there is a part in our hearts that makes us feel like a child. I want to go to Lotte World Seoul. This place is not only perfect for kids but all as well. It is also known as Magic Island. Before, I thought that the word Lotte is only linked to candy. But when I browse the internet, it was an amazing place to visit. It is one of a kind theme park with gigantic rides such as Camelot Carousel, Gyro Drop, Atlantis, etc. I also want to try ice skating and explore their cool facilities. I also noticed that this place has big posters of the most popular Korean actors. They put posters that endorse their products. This is an excellent opportunity to have a picture with them.
Nami Island
Finally, I want to experience the most awaited cherry blossom on this island. Many people visit this place during springtime. It is the perfect time to witness the colorful cherry blossom festival. Some visitors used this place for taking prenuptial photos. Its fascinating beauty captures the heart of every lover.
Traveling will never be boring when it gives us so much fun and enjoyment-being with the significant persons in our lives while traveling is a plus point. Always bear in our minds that entertainment is always paired with safety.
